住宅用火災警報器　　home fire alarm devices

住宅用火災警報器の設置がすべての住宅に義務付けられました。
新築住宅については、平成１８年６月１日からです。
既存住宅については、市町村が決めます。
平成２０年６月１日から遅くても23年5月31日までに完了です。
寝室･台所･階段に設置することになっています。
建物火災は年間3万件で、死亡者の90％が住宅火災で亡くなっています。
多くの尊い命が助かるように消防法が改正されたのです。

The installation of the home fire alarm devices was obligated to all houses.
It was enforced from June 1, 2006 for the new residential housing.
The deadline for the existing housing is decided by each municipality.
It will be completed by May 31, 2011 from June 1, 2008 at the latest.
It is supposed to fix them on ceiling in the bedrooms, the kitchen, and the stairs.
A building fire is 30,000 a year, and 90% of deaths has died of house fires.
The Fire Service Law was revised so that many precious lives would survive.
